Implementation Assistance - Whether you need a complete implementation or just some
help to get started using a new part of VISUAL®, we can provide assistance tailored
to your needs. Order entry, RMA’s, purchasing, requisitions, estimating, requests
for quote, engineering master setup, work order creation and management, scheduling,
labor entry, inventory control, cost flow, GL setup, invoicing, cash application,
cash receipts, and general ledger are all areas where we can provide assistance.
Training - We can provide training for key internal personnel as part of a “train
the trainer” process or set up classes for end users.
Customization of Standard Reports - A good portion of the productivity obtained
in using VISUAL® depends upon the presentation of information on the reports contained
in the package. The standard reports which come with VISUAL® often need to be tweaked
to contain just the right information needed by your users. With an excellent knowledge
of the standard reports and the tools needed to modify them successfully, we can
provide advice and assistance in report modification.
Financial Reporting - We are experienced in the use of the Report Writer Window™
in Visual Financials® and can provide templates for popular financial statement layouts
(see our gallery page for a financial report sample).
Custom Report Creation - There are usually some requirements for reports which are
just not going to be met with standard system reports or modifications thereof. With
our knowledge of the database structure and reporting tools like Microsoft Access®
or Crystal Reports®, we can provide custom reports to meet your specifications.
Cost Flow and Inventory Reconciliation - Resolving cost flow issues and reconciliation
of inventory values to the General Ledger balances are areas where we can provide
significant expertise. This includes help to correct existing situations and training
on how to monitor and manage the health of the costing and inventory valuation subsystems
in Visual.
Macros - Most modules in VISUAL® allow the use of additional program coding to provide
user instructions, data validation, and other desired actions which are not part
of the standard module functionality. These additional pieces of coding are called
macros. We are experienced in writing macro code and can provide services to design,

Payroll, Human Resources, and CRM - We are experienced in implementing these additional
modules which can be integrated with Visual Manufacturing® and Visual Financials®.
As companies evolve in their use of VISUAL®, there are sometimes fundamental changes
needed in the setup of the system in order to account for changes in their business
model. Occasionally there may have been decisions made in the original implementation
of the system which do not work well for current business needs.
Re-implementation can provide a new setup more closely tuned to current business
needs and eliminate older data which is no longer useful and is in fact cluttering

SQLBase® to
SQL Server® Conversion
With the introduction of version 7.0.0, VISUAL® no longer works with the SQLBase®
database back end. We are experienced in converting VISUAL® databases from SQLBase®
to SQL Server®.
Moving to a new version of VISUAL® requires planning, testing, and a methodical live
upgrade process in order to accomplish an orderly transition with minimal down time.
